Auckland's Property Laws have changed.
The Auckland Unitary Plan (“AUP”), along with the recently released changes to it in response to the National Policy Statement on Urban Development (“NPS-UD”) and the Enabling Housing Supply Act requirements, have enabled the possibility of subdividing existing sections of land where it wasn’t previously possible. It is no longer the case where you would need a minimum land area before you can subdivide.
